Dr. Qian is thrilled to serve NYC’s most vibrant Manhattan community. She grew up in Canada, where she attained a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Management at McGill University. Dr. Qian received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the esteemed first dental college in the world, University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To further advance her skills, she completed an additional one-year AEGD program as top resident at VCU School of Dentistry, gaining experience in complex treatment planning and advanced prosthodontics, including implant fixed multiple units and full mouth reconstruction. Her personal interests are in restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. She is certified in Invisalign, implant placement, veneers, and laser dentistry.
Dr. Qian practices a philosophy of prevention, education, and personalized comprehensive care. She takes pride in delivering positive and comfortable patient experiences that exceed expectations. Her passion for dentistry has allowed her to find fulfillment in a career that combines the curiosity of a scientist, the creativity of an artist, and, most importantly, a genuine desire to help others. Dr. Qian enjoys getting to know her patients and empowering them to lead confident lives, prioritizing patient-centered communication and listening carefully to customize recommendations for each individual.
Outside of work, Dr. Qian loves to broaden her perspective by traveling the world and exploring new cultures, sights, live music, restaurants, and cozy cafes. She is a hobby hip hop dancer, pianist, and watercolor painter. She actively contributes to both local and international causes she believes in through various outreach efforts.
Dr. Qian’s vision is to be a role model for children by providing dental care to communities with limited access—her most recent mission trip was in Peru. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and French.
